Many thanks to HowlRound for this weeks Howl on TYA. What I'd be interested in hearing about is 'What in the field of TYA is the newest and/or most exciting part of your work right now - especially a show someone else is producing or booking or starting to work on?' At Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audiences, we both commission/produce as well as present shows, one of the best movements happening is presenting houses (and IPAY, International Performing Arts For Youth, primarily a group of presenters) getting deeply and significantly involved in the creation of new work.
