A.S. Freeman is a writer, director, and actor currently based out of St. Louis, MO. He is the Artistic Director of Ozark Actors Theatre and the Managing Director of the Factory Theatre at Greenville University.
A.S. Freeman started directing in the shadow of Michigan's capital over 10 years ago. While his work has taken him around the country, he’s never lost his midwestern roots - and they serve him well in his current position as Artistic Director of Ozark Actors Theatre (OAT) in Rolla, MO. At OAT, Freeman is leading the company into a new era of growth, expansion, and stabilization, building on the 30 year history that preceded his arrival.
