A professional actor, singer, and improviser for 15 years post-undergrad, Claire is a late-bloomer graduate student studying not only acting, but diving deep into the topic of body politics in theatre. A researcher and activist for fat theatre makers (usually women), Claire has presented papers and spoken on the topic at conferences such as BroadwayCon and the Comparative Drama Conference, and led discussions with SETC and Women+ Theatre Festival. She is the founder of the Gal Pal Comedy Festival in Indianapolis IN, and the director of Man Overboard at Michigan State University, the campus' only improv company dedicated to women and non-binary performers.
