Dana Sayre

Dana Sayre has a BA in Theatre and English from Fairmont State University and a MA in Performance Studies from Texas A&M University. She currently lives in Austin, Texas. Dana works part-time at BookWoman, Austin's feminist bookstore, and as a freelance writer. She writes two weekly columns for The Horn and is currently working to expand her freelance portfolio. Dana also hosts a monthly open mic night at the Badlands in Austin, as well as speaking at other performance events around town. She hopes contributing to HowlRound will mark even more of a shift back towards performance.
