Randall Rapstine

Actor, Director, Playwright, Educator, gadabout, bon vivant.

Randall Rapstine currently teaches acting at Wayland Baptist University. He is completing a PhD in Playwriting and History/Theory & Criticism at Texas Tech University. He holds a BFA in Acting from The University of Texas and an MFA in Performance & Pedagogy from Texas Tech. He is also a graduate of The William Esper Studio in New York and is a Critic’s Fellow at The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center. Randall has acted around the world and on numerous American television shows. He directed Margaret Cho’s The Sensuous Woman Off-Broadway (and also in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and Chicago). His play YAWS was seen at the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival. Other works have been presented nationwide. Rapstine most recently conceived and directed the devised, immersive, site-specific production Canterville at Texas Tech School of Theatre & Dance.
