With 6-day weeks, 10 to 12 hour rehearsals and tech, and patriarchal legacies, theater in the U.S. does not center parenthood in its operations. With so many parents working in theater, we discuss how theatrical processes and organizations would look if they were fully supportive of parents in all stages and structures of parenthood.
