Marco Layera is a theater director, teacher and playwright. He studied Law at the University of Chile and specialized in Criminology. After receiving theatrical training at Teatro Escuela La Matriz and Escuela Teatro Imagen he founded in 2008 the company La Re-sentida. His work has been presented in 30 countries and on more than one hundred international stages, including NYU Skirball Center. He gives his theatrical creation a great political responsibility understanding it as an instrument of criticism, reflection and construction.
Martin Valdés-Stauber is a dramaturge and sociologist. He studied economics and sociology in Germany, at UC Berkeley and at the University of Cambridge (UK). In 2017 he became a dramaturge at the Münchner Kammerspiele, which was voted “Theater of the Year” in 2019 and 2020 for the German-speaking countries. Martin Valdés-Stauber has worked so far with Marlene Monteiro Freitas, Milo Rau, Philippe Quesne, Rimini Protokoll, Rabih Mroué and Prodromos Tsinikoris, among others. As a dramaturge he is dedicated to international collaborations, projects in public space, the interface “Arts meet Technology” and alliances with civil society.
