Are you the next Latinx Theatre Commons Producer?

The Steering Committee of the Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) is excited to announce our search for the next LTC Producer. Are you passionate about Latinx theatre, artists, and companies? Do you have experience leading through a consensus-based model? Are you excited about organizing and growing the Latinx Theatre Commons, and interested in implementing the LTC mission, vision, and values through our unique programming? After five years of service, current LTC Producer Abigail Vega will be stepping away from her current role with the LTC on 31 July 2019. We are looking for a new Producer to begin on or close to 1 May 2019. During this three month transition period, both Producers will work together to train on LTC and HowlRound practices, co-facilitate the Steering Committee, and co-produce the 2019 LTC Miami Regional Convening, which will take place mid-July 2019.

We're looking for a creative organizer, a quick learner, a deep thinker, and someone highly organized with the ability to multitask in a constantly changing environment. The LTC Producer reports to the LTC Steering Committee (currently at fifty-six members) and to HowlRound Director Jamie Gahlon. Additionally, they will work in close collaboration with the rest of the HowlRound team, based in Boston, MA. This is a work-remote contract position, starting with a fourteen month contract, renewable for following years upon mutual agreement. Travel is required.
