Ramona Rose King

Ramona is a dramaturg, producer, and storyteller.

Ramona Rose King (she/her) is HowlRound's Co-Director, alongside Julia Schachnik. This is her fourth position on the HowlRound team, after serving as the Digital Content and Communications Manager from 2022-2025, and Producer and Associate Producer from 2015-2020. She previously held communications, administrative, and literary office roles at Columbia University, Company One Theatre, ArtsBoston, and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. A strong advocate for artists and new work, Ramona is the Program Director of the Orchard Project's Greenhouse Lab and a freelance dramaturg. She has a BA in English and Theatre from Boston University and a Masters Certificate in Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy from UMass Boston. Outside of work, Ramona loves exploring the New England coastline with her husband and kids, and serves on the board of a Rhode Island-based Montessori school.
