May is the former content editor at HowlRound. She is also the co-founder and former co-editor-in-chief of Intermission, a Canadian online theatre magazine, as well as a researcher, editor, writer, and producer. She currently works at the Canada Media Fund and previously worked for the Department of Canadian Heritage, in publishing for the Banff Centre for the Arts, in publications development at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, and as a speechwriter and editor for WE Day, a youth empowerment event. May is based in Montreal.
