South Coast Rep presented a Playwrights Panel livestreaming on the commons-based peer produced HowlRound TV network on Sunday 10 April 2022 at 9 a.m. PDT (San Francisco, UTC -7) / 11 a.m. CDT (Chicago, UTC -5) / 12 p.m. EDT (New York, UTC -4).

Join South Coast Repertory for the Playwrights Panel, part of the Pacific Playwrights Festival 2022. We will have a conversation with PPF playwrights Christine Quintana (Clean/Espejos), Spenser Davis (A Million Tiny Pieces), Naomi Lorrain (how to roll a blunt), Katie Đỗ (love you long time [already]), John J. Caswell, Jr. (Scene Partners), Michael Shayan (avaaz), and Anika Johnson, Britta Johnson, and Nick Green (Dr. Silver: A Celebration of Life), moderated by SCR Audience Engagement/Artistic Associate H. Adam Harris.

Harris and the playwrights will discuss a variety of topics, including the points of inspiration behind each play (no previous knowledge of the plays required!), how each piece responds to the world today and insights into playwriting in today’s rapidly changing theatrical landscape.

Livestream and video production by Joel Veenstra.
