Synopsis:
Following the course of a contemporary fairy-tale, the show fictionalizes the experience of mothers who have to go to work in Italy and questions the effects of such dislocation on a personal and social level. Rovegan takes the form of a storytelling chorus following the story of a family along three generations of women and the way they each understand fighting for a better life.

The performance is part of the trilogy of migration—a project created by eastgowest and ARENA—and was presented as part of GO WEST theatre and debate platform in a national tour co-produced by AFCN, the Administration of the National Cultural Fund.
