The Consortium of Asian American Theaters and Artists (CAATA) is proud to announce CAATA Conversations: Pathways Forward, a special gathering for college students entering the professional theatre field. Hosted in partnership with Rutgers University Students, Harvard Asian Arts Project, and Stanford University, this event brings together emerging artists and established professionals across the AANHPI, SWANA, MENA, and Mixed-Race theatre communities to share insights, experiences, and practical strategies for career development.

The conversation explores the realities of entering the professional landscape—from building sustainable networks to identifying opportunities and navigating challenges. Students engage directly with artists who have forged their own paths, ask questions, and gain guidance grounded in lived experience.

CAATA Conversations: Pathways Forward is part of CAATA’s ongoing efforts to build mentorship, community care, and equitable pathways for emerging artists in the theater field.
