Weekly live performances that experiment with form.

Tuesday 14 April 2020

La MaMa Experimental Theater Club and CultureHub presented Café La MaMa Live: Take 2 livestreamed on the global, commons-based, peer-produced HowlRound TV network at howlround.tv on Tuesday 14 April 2020 at 4 p.m. PDT (San Francisco, UTC-7) / 6 p.m. CDT (Chicago, UTC-5) / 7 p.m. EDT (New York, UTC-4).

Weekly live performances that experiment with form. Responding to calls for social isolation, Café La MaMa Live brings La MaMa's 1960s café aesthetic to a virtual platform that links performers and audiences in real time across distance. Guest curators each week give artists a digital platform to share their work with the world.

This Week:
Pearse Redmond curates and hosts an evening of music and puppetry featuring the La Mama staff

Artists:
Nicky Paraiso, Jane Catherine Shaw, Molly Reisman & Clayton Briggs, Gilberto Flores & Diana Pau
