A young and gifted math teacher receives a special request to teach a teenage prodigy. As the pedagogy commences, the young teacher is confronted with an identity crisis, neglected grieving, and a history untold by his late mother. He seeks to find a melody of self-acceptance and crack the equation in which "X" equals a new bound future.
