Over the past two years, eighteen cities and towns across the United States have been participating in a bold national campaign: Arts for EveryBody (AFEB), led by the national arts and health initiative One Nation/One Project (ONOP), rooted in the research-based evidence that participation in the arts leads to healthier people and healthier communities.
On 27 July 2024 each site in the AFEB cohort presented highly visible, participatory public art projects designed to strengthen community wellbeing. These projects were the product of collaborations across the arts, health, and municipal sectors in communities with vastly different economic, social, racial, and geographic experiences.
The Arts for EveryBody Capstone Convening in Dallas, Texas is an action-oriented learning and networking opportunity for practitioners, leaders, and funders in the health, municipal, and arts sectors.
